You could join in the John and Teyla thing-a-thon and write a friendship piece. One other idea might be to check out sga_genrequest. There are some great requests there. Check out the open fic requests (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_genrequest/tag/open+story+request). sga_flashfic is doing a Must Be Dreaming challenge, and sgahcchallenges has a "It's not chickenpox" challenge going.
I hope you'll join in the remix challenge. Maybe pick an author you aren't familiar with and read a couple of stories. You'll do an awesome job.
